2004 Boys Cross Country
Volunteer Coaches

Robert Beach
Robert has joined the team as a coach after running seven years on the team.  Robert was a former Mahomet-Seymour standout in both cross country and track.  In his senior year, Robert was on the sectional qualifying team in cross country.  Robert ran one of the fastest times in our school's history in the 800 with a 2:00.7.  His passion for running and experience are really helping the team.

Brandon Smith
Brandon has joined the team as a coach after a short, but very successful high school running career.  Brandon joined track as a junior where in his first year he qualified for state in the 4 by 400 relay.  He joined cross country his senior year and was on the sectional qualifying team.  He was able to run in the 16's in cross country.  Brandon went on to qualify for state a second year in track in the 4 by 400 relay.  He is a great example for our first year runners since he is an example of how a first year runner can contribute to the sport.

Gary Garrison
Gary has helped with the team the past couple years.  Although he is most known for his success in track, he brings a vast amount of knowledge of running to the team.  Gary truly understands a runners potential and has a great knack for motivating runners to run to their potential.

Joe Horton
Joe has joined the team after running with the team his senior year.  Much like Brandon Smith, Joe has shown that first year runners can contribute to the team as a first year runner.  Joe's first high school sport was cross country his senior year.  Joe enjoyed the sport and his friends on the team so he decided to join the track team in the spring.  Joe went on to letter his senior year in track as a distance runner.
