Sam Geneser - Junior:  Sam is a second year cross country runner at the high school level.      As a freshman, Sam was sidelined due to an illness.     As a junior, Sam showed a great amount of determination as he trained through an illness that most runners wouldn't have had the heart to do.  Sam is a good runner and we should be seeing good things out of him this year.  Sam started the season out by running a 3 miles in over 32 minutes.  He improved more than anyone on our team throughout the season.  By the Peoria Notre Dame meet he was already running in the 25 minute range. He earned a medal in the open race at the Olympia Invitational by placing 26th. Sam ran a lifetime best at Conference where he ran a 25:32.
