Phil Alexander
   
Phil was a 2012 Mahomet-Seymour High School Boys Cross Country Hall of Fame Inductee.

Phil ran during the 1993, 1994, 1995, and 1996 seasons.

Phil was captain of his team his junior and senior years.

Phil was most improved runner of his team in 1994.

Phil was the 1995 Mahomet Seymour/U High/Prairie Central triangular meet champion. 
He was the 1995 Mahomet Seymour/Urbana/Stephen Decatur triangular meet champion. 

Phil was All-Conference two years.  He placed 5th in 1995 and 3rd in 1996.
 
Phil was on the All-Regional (top 5) team all two years.  He place 8th in 1994, 4th in 1995, and 4th in 1996.   

Phil was a three time State qualifier (1994, 1995, and 1996).  He was an All-State (top 25) runner his junior and senior years.  In 1995, he placed 22nd.  In 1996, he placed 23rd.  
Phil is only of only a few runners in the history of our program that have been an All-State cross country runner more than once.

Phil went on to continue his running career at Bradley University from 1997-2002 (including a red shirt season).  He ran a 26:35 in the 8K during cross country, a 15:26 5K in track, and an impressive 3:59 1500.
