Jeff Riddle
Jeff Riddle created our home course in 2000.  He maintained the course for over a decade.  He was often seen mowing the 3 mile course.  He would run behind his push mower back and forth over the course to make it wide enough to be able to host large invitationals.  He mowed the course barefoot.

Jeff not only created our course, but he is one of the most knowledgeable running gurus I have ever met.  He has a wealth of knowledge that he is very willing to share to help others reach their full potential as a runner.  Jeff gained his knowledge through decades of running himself and constantly studying the sport.  Jeff was a coach with the CU racing team and Urbana High School cross country team.

Besides his unmatched passion for learning about the sport, Jeff has raced about every distance available.  He ran personal bests of 5:02 in the mile, 18:05 in the 5K, 37:55 in the 10K, 1:23 in the half marathon, 3:07 in the marathon, and 8 hours and 39 minutes in the 50 mile.  He ran over 91,000 miles in slightly over 42 years of running.
