Coach Gary Garrison (father of Neal Garrison)  was inducted into the Illinois Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Hall of Fame this January.  After 40 years of coaching at 3 schools, Gary will be honored for his significant accomplishments as a coach and his contribution to the sport.  Each year the ITCCCA inducts about 7 coaches a year to be in the hall of fame.  The list is small but includes many great college and high school coaches.  Coach Gary Garrison currently is a volunteer XC coach for Mahomet-Seymour, an assistant Track coach for Mahomet-Seymour, and Illini Heat Track coach in the summer.  He is often asked to speak at track clinics throughout the State to educate other coaches.
